Eric Kenneth Cooper was born on 19 November 1964, in Bamberg, Germany. His parents were Kenneth Merle Cooper and Waltraut Baltutt. Kenneth was born in 1938 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Waltraut was born in 1940 in the city of Osterode, Germany. Kenneth was at the time a soldier in the U.S. Army stationed in Bamberg, Germany.

He passed away at his brother Burt's home on 29 January 2023, aged 58. He was survived by three children, Nicholas, Aaron, and Andrea, his parents predeceased him.
