My Writings is a small selection of some things I have written.

Memoirs

I've been a publisher since 2014, under the name Prospect Avenue Books. The books I've published under that name are:

• The Bones of My People, the memoir of my late mother-in-law. I actually wrote it myself, adapted from a transcript of her telling her story to her daughter, Rita Baltutt Kyle.
• Yesterday's Sandhills, the memoir of my late sister-in-law, Rita Kyle. It takes place during the same time frame as The Bones of My People.

Non-Fiction

For the past couple of years I've been working on completing a book about an English castle situated not far from my wife's house in Sussex. The castle is Bramber Castle. I have posted three YouTube videos about the castle, and they can be viewed on a playlist on my YouTube channel. Here is a link to that playlist: Bramber Castle

The book has been completed! Bramber Castle and the Rise and Fall of the House of Braose.

Words of Testimony

Allow me to bear testimony for a moment. As Cleopas and his friend found upon the road to Emmaus, my heart has burned within me to make me know that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Eternal God. At the Father's direction, He it was who created the Earth upon which we dwell. By the same direction He guided all His holy prophets, and spoke to Moses through the burning bush. He was born of the Virgin Mary with the power to die and of the Father with the power to live and keep Himself from sin. He was tempted beyond measure, yet never succumbed to the world, taught the Good News to His disciples, and demonstrated His power and authority through many miracles. Though a just man, He sealed His mission with his body and blood, enduring the sufferings of the unjust (the Atonement), until it was finished, and then he gave up the ghost. He was resurrected on the third day and ascended to His glory. I know he lives; He is my Savior.

Soteriology

Soteriology is the study of religious doctrines of salvation.

• Justification by Faith Alone is False Doctrine - Many Protestants believe that mere acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as one's savior is sufficient for salvation. I argue that it is necessary, but insufficient.
• Baptism for the Dead is Evidence for the True Church - I have reason to believe that one of the best evidences for the falling away (or apostasy) of the early Church is the abandonment of the doctrine of baptism for the dead, and that evidence for the true Church includes the practice of baptism for the dead.
