Irmgard Baltutt (13 December 1938 - 21 March 2021) was born in Osterode, East Prussia, Germany. She married Egmar Wunderlich in 1958, and they settled in the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. There she lived for the rest of her life, with occasional visits in Egypt due to her husband's employment as an engineer.
Irmgard was the mother of three sons: Jens; Niels; and Peer.
